The ISN T8-Cat5 is engineered for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing on information technology equipment (ITE) using Cat 5 cables. It is placed between the equipment under test (EUT) and auxiliary equipment, providing precise common-mode termination impedance required for accurate measurement of conducted emissions. The ISN simulates the longitudinal conversion loss (LCL) of the telecommunications line, mimicking real-world conditions. With the ability to support up to four unscreened single balanced pairs, the ISN T8-Cat5 meets the requirements of CISPR 22 and CISPR 32 for emission testing. Additionally, it functions as a coupling-decoupling network (CDN) for immunity testing in accordance with IEC/EN 61000-4-6, supporting frequencies up to 80 MHz, making it a versatile solution for both emission and immunity assessments.
