Souderton, PA – December 2024 – AMETEK CTS, a global leader in EMC testing solutions, is pleased to announce important updates to its service center operations in the United States. Following our acquisition of Amplifier Research Corp. (AR) in October 2023, we’ve been working to streamline and enhance the services we provide to our valued customers.
We are writing to inform you that, as of December 15, 2024, we will be closing our Edison service center and consolidating AMETEK CTS Service into our Amplifier Research facility at 160 Schoolhouse Road in Souderton, PA.
Given the infrastructure and resources that already exist within that site, we feel that we will be better able to provide timely service and support across our entire product line. In recent months, we transferred the repair of CTS amplifiers to the AR service team which has resulted in fewer units needing to be sent to Europe for repair, thus reducing turnaround time.
Once the team is fully trained on all CTS products, our goal is to be able to calibrate and repair all our products at this site. This will take some time as we go through this transition, but it is our belief that we will be in a much better position to serve our customers in the end.
