Mounting your antenna to a tripod allows for easy rotation of the antenna to the desired position. All our antennas are designed to mount easily on a tripod or to a mounting plate. The microwave horn tripod mounting systems include a swivel head, antenna bracket, and mounting cylinder. The tripod is constructed of durable, non-conductive, commercial grade fiberglass and plastic that provide the necessary stability while allowing for portability.
Antenna mounting adapters are also available for older versions of the AT1000, AT1080, and AT5080 antennas. Positioners are available (in the model positioner for models ATR26M6G, ATR26M6G-1, ATR26M1G and ATR26M250) for the larger horn antennas. All these devices allow for vertical and horizontal polarization changes without removing the antenna from the tripod/positioner.
